I wrote a letter to myself once,
sealed with hope instead of wax.
It crossed years quietly,
survived moves, storms, and silences.
When I finally opened it,
the words hadn’t aged.
They still knew my name,
still believed in my becoming.
Some letters don’t travel miles,
they travel time,
arriving exactly when the heart is ready to read.

Excellent. I really liked this. Especially these lines:

    “the words hadn’t aged.
    They still knew my name,”
