Important
Important isn’t always loud.
It doesn’t always announce itself
or demand attention.
Often, what’s important is subtle—
a conversation held with care,
a boundary respected,
a moment of rest taken without guilt.
We’re taught to chase what looks urgent,
but importance lives elsewhere.
In what sustains us.
In what keeps us human.
In what remains when the noise fades.
Not everything that shouts matters.
Not everything that matters shouts.
Learning the difference
might be one of the most important things of all.
