Sunday Poser — A Change of Scenery

This week’s question is: Do you like changing things around?
Oh yes! I used to love rearranging furniture and giving rooms a completely new look. Sometimes, simply moving a few things around could make the whole house feel different.
These days, however, we live in a small farmhouse here on Fuerteventura, and there isn’t much room for moving furniture around. Everything has more or less found its permanent place. 😂
But that doesn’t mean I’ve stopped enjoying a little change of scenery!
I still love changing the curtains with the seasons, especially when Christmas approaches. There is something lovely about bringing out the Christmas decorations and making the house feel warm and festive.
And then there is our terrace and patio!
That’s where I can still play around with things, moving decorations, changing the arrangement and creating a slightly different atmosphere.
Sometimes, even the smallest changes can make a familiar place feel fresh again.
I suppose I have simply gone from rearranging entire rooms to rearranging the little things.
Same farmhouse, different curtains, and a little Christmas magic when the season arrives.
And let’s not forget, with all our cats around, changing the curtains can become quite an adventure! 😂
