Today’s three words:
TRIPOD • TRIP • TRIPE
The Perfect Shot 📸
He had planned the perfect photography trip.
A beautiful coastal sunset.
A peaceful beach.
Not another soul in sight.
He carefully positioned his tripod, adjusted the camera and waited for the golden light to fall across the ocean.
Perfect.
Absolutely perfect.
Then came the dog.
A small, enthusiastic creature with enormous ears and absolutely no understanding of personal space.
“Hello, little fellow.”
The dog wagged its tail.
“Now, if you wouldn’t mind moving just a little…”
The dog sat directly in front of the camera.
He sighed.
“I’m trying to photograph the sunset.”
The dog tilted its head.
He moved the tripod.
The dog followed.
He moved again.
The dog followed again.
“Honestly, this is complete tripe!”
The dog barked.
Then, with the confidence of an experienced model, it planted itself in the sand, lifted its chin and gazed majestically towards the horizon.
The photographer stared.
The sunset was magnificent.
The composition was perfect.
And the dog had somehow improved the entire picture.
He pressed the shutter.
Click.
Later that evening, he uploaded the photograph.
It received more likes than anything he had ever taken.
The caption read:
“Went looking for the perfect sunset. Found the perfect photobomber.”
The dog, meanwhile, had already moved on to ruining someone else’s picnic.
