What hill would I die on that nobody else would understand or want to understand?
Apparently, I misunderstood the assignment. 😂
When I first read “What hill would you die on?”, I took it literally.
And I thought: Well, if I get to choose, one of the mountains here in the Canary Islands, looking out across the landscape.
I’ve actually seen something similar during a past-life regression, which made the answer seem perfectly reasonable to me.
Then I discovered that “a hill you would die on” is an idiom meaning an opinion or belief you would stubbornly defend even if nobody else agreed with you.
Oh.
That’s different. 🤣🤣🤣
But you know what?
I’m keeping my original answer.
Everyone else can argue about their controversial opinions.
I’ll be sitting peacefully on my Canarian mountain, enjoying the view and wondering why everybody is fighting over hills in the first place. 😂
And THAT may actually be the hill I die on. 🤣
P.S. I am known for taking things literally. My driving instructor once asked, “Where did you come from?” I pointed behind me and said, “That roundabout.” So perhaps nobody should be surprised that when asked which hill I’d die on, I actually chose a hill. 🤣

My new song “Silenced, but not broken” is now avaliable on all streaming platforms. 💜
