The bee doesn’t know it’s Monday.
The bee doesn’t know it’s Monday.
It doesn’t know about deadlines,
notifications, appointments,
or the hundred things waiting to be done.
It simply follows the flower.
Climbing between soft purple petals,
dusting itself in pollen,
taking what it needs
and leaving something behind.
Perhaps there is a lesson in that.
We spend so much of our lives thinking about yesterday
or worrying about tomorrow
that sometimes we forget the moment happening right now.
The bee doesn’t.
For this tiny visitor,
there is only this flower,
this sweetness,
this moment beneath the sun.
Maybe every now and then
we should do the same.
Stop.
Notice the flowers.
Feel the sun.
And simply bee. 🐝💜
