OVEN • OVER • ORAL

There’s something comforting about the smell of an oven warming the kitchen.

Fresh bread.

A homemade roast.

Or a simple meal shared with the people we love.

Food has a way of bringing us together.

But some of the most nourishing moments don’t come from what’s on the table.

They come from the conversations we share.

An oral story passed from one generation to the next.

A family memory retold with laughter.

Words of encouragement spoken when someone needs them most.

Long after the meal is over, those words often remain.

Kindness lingers.

Love echoes.

Memories stay with us.

So today I’m grateful not only for the warmth of the oven…

but also for the voices, stories, and laughter that turn a house into a home.
