In astrology, aspects are the sacred geometry of the sky.
They describe the angular relationships between planets in a chart—mapping how different energies speak to one another. Some conversations flow with ease, others spark tension, and some awaken movement, growth, and change.
Aspects are not just technical. They are living dynamics.
They reveal both our inner landscape and the experiences we meet in the outer world—showing where life feels harmonious, where it challenges us, and where something within us is being activated.
The core structure of any chart is shaped by the major aspects: conjunction, sextile, square, trine, and opposition.
These form the backbone of interpretation—the primary threads in the story.
Yet the quieter voices matter too.
Minor aspects, like the semisextile or quincunx, add subtle layers—whispers of adjustment, nuance, and refinement. They often speak in ways that are felt before they are understood.
An aspect is also never static. It is either forming or fading.
When a faster-moving planet approaches an exact angle, the energy builds—alive, immediate, unfolding. When it moves away, the experience begins to integrate, settling into awareness.
