Engrossing

It is more
than attention.

More
than focus.

It is the moment
something takes
hold—
so completely
that everything else fades.

Time softens.
Noise disappears.
The world narrows
into a single experience.

And within it…
you are not separate.

You are inside it.

A story
that carries you.
A feeling
that surrounds you.
A moment
that becomes everything.

To be engrossed
is to forget
the edges of yourself.

Not lost—
but expanded.

Because when something
truly captures you—
it is not distraction.

It is connection.

A resonance
so deep
that it holds your awareness
without effort.

And maybe
that is what we seek
more than we realize—

Not constant movement.
Not endless noise.

But moments
that draw us in
so fully…
that we feel
completely present.

Alive
within what is.

Because in those moments—
we are not divided.

Not pulled
in a hundred
directions.

We are here.

Fully.

And that…
is its own kind
of stillness.
