In response to Di’s daily Prompt: https://wp.me/p3RSgb-wvW

Not everything true arrives in ornate form.
It does not always wear beauty loudly,or dress itself in words that shimmer at first glance.
Often,truth is quieter than that.
It lives in the other things—the overlooked ones, the in-between moments, the feelings that don’t announce themselves but stay.
I used to think meaning had to be grand. Complicated. Beautifully shaped before it could matter.
But life has taught me otherwise.
Some of the deepest things arrive plainly.
A look. A pause. A breath held too long. A softness you almost miss if you are not paying attention.
And maybe that is its own kind of beauty.
Not ornate—but honest.
Not loud—but lasting.
So today I find myself drawn not to what glitters most, but to what remains.
The other layer. The quieter meaning. The truth that returns again and again, because it has something real to say.
