In response to Di’s daily Prompt:

https://wp.me/p3RSgb-w6s

I did not expect to meet a valet
for my thoughts today.

Yet there he was —
calmly taking the keys to my overthinking
and parking them somewhere
less dramatic.

Meanwhile, a street vendor nearby
was selling something far more useful:
fresh perspective,
two for one,
no receipt required.

And suddenly, a verse arrived.

Not perfect.
Not polished.
Just a small line of truth
wrapped in ordinary noise.

Turns out, inspiration doesn’t need grand entrances.
Sometimes it’s just parked neatly,
bought casually,
and written down before it disappears .
