Your three words today are:
HELLO
HANDY
HELPFUL

I said hello to the day
with good intentions
and absolutely no plan.

I tried to be handy —
fixing things, organising things,
moving things that didn’t ask to be moved.

Somehow this resulted in
a louder noise,
a missing screwdriver,
and the strong suspicion
that I made things worse.

Still, I remained helpful —
mostly by smiling,
offering tea,
and eventually stepping away
before I caused further “improvements.”

Because sometimes being helpful
is knowing when to stop fixing,
say hello again,
and let things be…
slightly crooked but still standing
