DailyPrompt–1820

Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?

#DailyPrompt-1820

This isn’t an easy question to answer.
Love shows up in many forms, but the deepest, most honest love I’ve felt has come from children and animals.
My children give me so much love ❤️
A love that is real, unfiltered, and deeply rooted.
They don’t love an idea of me — they love me.
Animals give me that same kind of love ❤️
A love without conditions, expectations, or masks.
The unconditional love from children and animals is, to me, the purest love there is.
I remember one moment especially.
A friend of mine had adopted a young dog who had been badly hurt by humans in the past. She was scared, reserved, and cautious around people. Trust did not come easily to her.
But every time I visited, she would quietly come over and sit by my feet.
She would look straight into my eyes — calm, present, and searching.
She had a bad shoulder.
She wanted healing.
And somehow… she knew.
She trusted my energy, my intentions, my abilities — without words, without fear.
That kind of trust is love.
Moments like that remind me that love doesn’t always shout.
Sometimes it simply sits beside you and says,
I feel safe here.
And that, to me, is everything.
