Three Things Challenge #MM547
Today’s three words:
PLIANT • PLANT • PLAIN.
Bend, Don’t Break 💜
She had always thought strength meant standing firm.
Never bending.
Never showing weakness.
Never changing course.
But life had taught her something different.
Even the strongest plant bends in the wind.
A branch that is too rigid can snap, while something more pliant moves with the storm and survives it.
Perhaps people are not so different.
There are times to stand your ground.
And there are times to soften.
To adapt.
To change your mind.
To rest.
To begin again.
It sounds plain enough when written down, but learning when to bend and when to hold firm can take a lifetime.
She looked at the little plant on the windowsill, leaning quietly towards the light.
No struggle.
No apology.
Just growth.
Maybe resilience wasn’t about becoming harder.
Maybe it was about staying rooted while still allowing yourself to move. 💜
