Star Whispers
Beneath the stars I dream tonight,
Their ancient fires still burn so bright;
in starlight.
Across the dark the planets gleam,
They drift like lanterns through my dream;
soft starshine.
A meteor streaks through the night,
It leaves a silver thread of light;
a starfall.
I send my wishes to the sky,
And watch them wander, asking why;
O starbright.
When dawn arrives, stars fade from view,
Yet still their whispers guide me through;
my stardust.
