Day 19 — What’s your favorite photo this year (so far)?

My favourite photo this year is this sunset seen from my house.

I took it as the sun was going down behind the mountain where the wind turbines stand. I love how the sun appears almost perfectly balanced on the ridge, with one of the turbines silhouetted beside it.

Living in the Canary Islands, I’ve seen thousands of sunsets, but somehow they never become ordinary. The light, clouds and colours are always changing, and every now and then everything lines up perfectly for a photograph.

And this year, this was that moment for me. 💜

Sometimes you don’t have to travel anywhere to find a beautiful view.

Sometimes you only have to look outside your own home.
