Which is the best restaurant in your city?

Can I answer depending on what I’m hungry for? 😂

Where we live, we have something for almost every taste.

Fancy pizza or Italian food?

We’ve got that.

Chinese?

Definitely.

Traditional Canarian dishes? 🇮🇨

Absolutely.

So choosing one restaurant as the best is almost impossible.

It depends entirely on my mood.

Our Chinese restaurant is definitely one of my favourites. There are days when nothing else will do.

But I also love traditional Canarian food.

There’s something special about eating dishes that belong to the place you call home.

And then we have the pizzas…

Some of them are heavenly.

I don’t think the best restaurant is necessarily the fanciest one or the one with the longest menu.

It’s the place where you sit down, look at what’s coming toward your table and think:

Yep. That’s exactly what I wanted.

So I’m refusing to choose just one.

Chinese today.

Canarian tomorrow.

Pizza the day after.

Problem solved. 😂

And now, thanks to this Daily Prompt…

I’m hungry. 🤣💜

Perhaps the story is not really about restaurants at all. It is about life itself. We keep searching for the “best” choice, as though one answer must fit every day. But what satisfies us changes with our mood, our needs, and our circumstances. Sometimes, happiness is not choosing the perfect thing. It is accepting that different days deserve different answers—and feeling grateful that we have those choices.
