Apparently these are all perfectly legitimate collective nouns.
I have my doubts.
So here are the real meanings. 🤭
1 . An Aurora
A group of astrologers who all went outside at 2 a.m. because someone said, “You can see it from here!”
2. An Argument
A collection of cats gathered around one empty food bowl, despite there being food in three other bowls.
3. A Blessing
A gathering of people who all remembered to bring coffee.
4. A Smack
A group of mosquitoes discussing which sleeping human looks tastiest.
5. An Embarrassment
A collection of old photographs your mother decides to show your new partner.
6. A Prickle
A gathering of people trying to remove cactus needles from the one person who said, “Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing.”
7. A Bloat
A family gathered on the sofa immediately after Christmas dinner declaring they will never eat again.
8. A Coalition
Several household pets temporarily putting aside their differences because somebody has opened the fridge.
9. A Barrel
A group of monkeys who have discovered an unattended mobile phone and are currently taking 847 selfies.
10. A Zeal
A gathering of bloggers who said, “I’ll just write one quick post,” and somehow ended up publishing five.
There. Collective nouns finally explained properly.
Please don’t check a dictionary.
It will only confuse you. 😂💜
