What’s a quote that perfectly describes your outlook on life?
One quote has stayed with me ever since I first heard it:
“Take it down a notch and remember it’s a marathon, not a sprint.” — Liam Payne
I think we all need that reminder from time to time.
Life isn’t a race where we have to keep up with everyone else.
It’s a journey that unfolds at its own pace.
There will be seasons when we move quickly, and there will be seasons when we need to slow down, rest, heal, and simply breathe.
I’ve learned that there is no shame in taking your time.
Growth can’t be rushed.
Neither can healing.
We are all walking different paths, carrying different stories, and reaching our goals in our own way.
So whenever life feels overwhelming, I remember those words:
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
And that’s enough to remind me to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
