CRYPT • CLOUT • CURSE
Not every crypt is made of stone.
Sometimes we lock away old hurts,
painful memories,
or words that were never ours to carry.
They remain hidden,
waiting for the day we’re brave enough to open the door and let them rest.
The world often tells us that clout is everything—
more followers,
more attention,
more recognition.
But I’ve come to believe that the quiet things matter far more.
A kind heart.
An honest word.
A helping hand.
Those leave the deepest legacy.
And as for a curse…
Sometimes the greatest curse isn’t bad luck at all.
It’s believing we’ll never heal,
never change,
or never find hope again.
Thankfully, that story doesn’t have to be true.
Today, I choose to leave old burdens in the crypt,
ignore the chase for clout,
and break every curse that tells me I am anything less than enough.
