WILLOW • WALLOW • WELL
The graceful willow doesn’t resist the wind.
It bends.
It sways.
It trusts that the storm will pass.
Perhaps there’s wisdom in that.
Life brings moments when we’re tempted to wallow in disappointment, sadness, or worry.
And that’s okay—for a little while.
Our feelings deserve to be acknowledged.
But they were never meant to become our permanent address.
Eventually, we lift our heads again.
We breathe.
We smile.
We remember who we are.
Like drawing fresh water from a well, hope is always there, waiting to refresh us when we need it most.
Today, I choose to bend without breaking,
to feel without remaining stuck,
and to trust that even after difficult days, my well of hope is never empty.
