Reena’s Xploration Challenge #437
When Atlas Let Go
For centuries they believed Atlas carried the world.
Perhaps that was never his punishment.
Perhaps the true burden was believing everything depended on him.
One day, exhausted beyond words, he loosened his grip.
The mountains did not crumble.
The oceans did not spill into the stars.
The world continued to turn.
Only then did Atlas understand.
Strength was never measured by how much he could carry.
Wisdom arrived the moment he realised that no soul is meant to bear the weight of the whole world alone.
Sometimes the bravest act is not holding on.
It is letting go.
And in that surrender, he discovered something unexpected.
The heavens he had been condemned to support…
had been supporting him all along.
With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,
