Here are this week’s questions& and my answers
1 When buying a new home appliance, are you offered optional insurance cover (for additional cost) and if so do you take it?
If it’s an expensive item — yes.
For bigger purchases, it feels worth the extra peace of mind.
2 When purchasing something for the home, like a new TV, freezer, cooker, carpets, etc., do you pay outright or take terms?
We prefer to pay everything all at once.
No monthly surprises later.
3 What is the worst purchase for the home you can remember?
A fryer pan for making chips and other things in oil.
The whole thing literally melted down 😂😂
Let’s just say… that purchase did not survive very long.
4 For your family room/lounge, do you prefer couches, easy chairs, recliners, or a mixture of seating arrangements?
Life has changed a little over the last three years.
Our living room now includes my husband’s hospital bed, so things look very different than they once did. Since the room isn’t very big, we mostly have kitchen chairs now.
Sometimes home changes shape around what life needs.
Gratitude
I’m grateful for a home that adapts with us.For laughter, even when things melt down — literally. And for the reminder that comfort isn’t always about furniture… sometimes it’s simply about being together.
