Quadrille #250 – Mything Poems

Between Stars
They call it
myth—
souls recognizing souls
across impossible distances.
Yet some meetings arrive
already familiar,
like unfinished constellations
waiting patiently for names.
Perhaps love remembers
what memory forgets,
while stars keep old secrets
for hearts brave enough to listen
With an open mind.
De Jackson, aka WhimsyGizmo, here! It’s time again for us to muster our muses and gather ’round the poetry campfire for my favorite prompt: the Quadrille. This is a little invention of our own making at dVerse, when we ask you to write a poem of precisely 44 words, not counting the title, including one word we provide.
Just be sure to also specifically include some form or other of the actual word myth.
