Thursday Inspiration #327 Love Is Like Oxygen

Enough

Love is strange that way.

Too little, and something inside us begins to fade —quietly, almost unnoticed, like breath growing shallow.

Too much…and sometimes we lose ourselves trying to keep another alive.

Like oxygen.

Invisible. Necessary. Something we barely think about until we cannot breathe.

The song Love Is Like Oxygen reminds us that love is not only survival —it is balance.

Not suffocating. Not starving.

Just… enough.

Enough trust to weather storms. Enough laughter to soften difficult days. Enough space to grow without drifting apart. Enough honesty to say, I’m struggling, and enough love to stay.

Maybe that’s what lasting love really is.

Not perfection.

Not fireworks every day.

But enough —again and again —to choose each other through ordinary moments.

Because love, like oxygen,is not meant to overwhelm us

It is meant to keep us alive.

With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,

I loved your response to the word enough, Maggie and the way you tied in into the song that I featured today. The song you chosen was new to me, but I liked it and the video was interesting to watch.

      If I’m not mistaken, it’s from 1974 .

His first mainstream success was the 1976 album Oxygène. Recorded in a makeshift studio at his home, the album sold an estimated 18 million copies.
