CONSIDER
Consider this—
that storms do not ask permission before arriving.
They tumble through lives, uninvited guests carrying grief, fear, hospital corridors, broken sleep, and mornings where coffee tastes more like survival than comfort.
Consider, too, that joy never truly leaves.
It hides.
In sunflower faces turning toward light. In a dog’s ridiculous zoomies. In cats claiming your lap when the world feels too heavy. In sea water cooling tired skin beneath a burning island sun.
Consider how strange life is.
One moment, you are laughing so hard you cannot breathe. The next, you are carrying mountains nobody else can see.
Yet still—the heart continues.
Bruised perhaps, weathered certainly, but beating.
And maybe that is the miracle we forget to consider most:
That we survive things we once believed would break us.
And somehow, in the middle of all the chaos, we still find reasons to love.
With love
