I stitched my silence into the seams of the day—

between folded laundry,half-finished coffee,the small replies that kept everything moving.

No one noticed.

That’s the skill of survival:to bleed quietly without staining the room.

So I threaded my unspoken words through ordinary hours,pulled them tight with tired hands,

and wore the day like it hadn’t already come apart inside me.

But silence is strange.

The longer you carry it,the heavier it becomes.

And sometimes,late at night,I can still hear it—

the sound of invisible thread pulling through skin instead of fabric.
