A single Gooseberry rested in my palm,
tart with memory.
Childhood summers returned—
bare feet, sun-warmed laughter,
and secrets shared beneath open skies.
Some tastes never fade;
they linger softly,

    Yes – and gooseberries are certainly one of those tastes that take he back my dad use to gooseberry bushes and I love them 😃
