Pulse
A pulse is proof of life.
Steady.
Rhythmic.
Quietly constant.
We don’t think about it
until something feels off.
Until it races.
Until it slows.
Until we press fingers to wrist
and check.
Pulse is not dramatic.
It doesn’t shout.
It doesn’t demand attention.
It simply continues.
Music has a pulse.
Crowds have a pulse.
The earth itself has a pulse
in tides, in seasons, in breath.
And so do we.
Sometimes the pulse is calm.
Sometimes it surges with emotion —
fear, love, anger, excitement.
But as long as it beats,
there is movement.
There is presence.
There is possibility.
Pulse reminds us
that beneath everything —
beneath thoughts, noise, chaos —
there is rhythm.
And rhythm
means we are still here.
