I have made predictions since I was a small child, though I did not always call them that.
Sometimes they arrived as feelings, other times as quiet knowing before events unfolded.
I believed my spirit guides were helping me, even when I doubted what I sensed.
Not every intuition was welcomed, and not every warning was trusted.
One lesson arrived through something far more physical than spiritual.
Determined to prove I could handle anything, I once ordered the spiciest dish a restaurant could serve.
Within minutes my body reacted violently, my breathing tightening in a way that felt frighteningly unfamiliar.
I was rushed to the emergency room, where the prediction I ignored became painfully clear: not everything is meant for me to endure.
After that long night, I never touched spicy food again.
Some predictions come as whispers, others arrive as consequences.
