Pleasant

Pleasant is underrated.

It doesn’t demand attention.
It doesn’t blaze across the sky
or rewrite your destiny.

It simply rests beside you
and says,
This is enough for today.

A pleasant morning.
A pleasant conversation.
A body cooperating.
A mind not racing ahead of itself.

There was a time
I chased extraordinary—
big shifts, big meanings,
cosmic alignments.

Now I understand
the luxury of pleasant.

No crisis.
No performance.
No proving.

Just a day that moves
without resistance.

Pleasant is not boring.
It is balanced.

And sometimes,
after storms and eclipses and headlines,
balance feels like grace.

Today, I will not ask for spectacle.

Pleasant
will do.
