PLACE — A Sanctuary for the Self

There are places in life that aren’t just locations on a map —
they’re quiet corners inside you,
sacred ground where you land when the world has pushed too hard,
where the noise finally fades,
and what matters most can be heard again.

In “Second Hand News,” there’s a kind of brisk clarity:
the echoes of what was don’t hold you.
They ricochet off your heart like echoes in an empty room —
but you are no longer there.
You’ve moved to a new place —
not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

Because sometimes breaking up with something that’s no longer right
isn’t just about ending —
it’s about finding a place where you can breathe again.

A place doesn’t need walls —
it needs space.
It needs permission.
It needs you.

Your place is where you feel whole again —
not because the world stopped,
but because you learned you can still stand strong in it. 💜
