January made an error —
it assumed I had a plan.

Instead, it got coffee guesses,
half-finished lists,
and at least one moment
where I stared at the fridge
waiting for instructions.

Still, the month kept going,
took a bow,
and somehow earned an encore
for sheer persistence.

And now, at the very end,
January grabs its coat,
looks at February,
and decides to elope —
quietly, dramatically,
without cleaning up first.

Honestly?
Fair enough.

Some errors deserve applause,
some encores happen by accident,
and sometimes the best thing a month can do
is slip away
and let the next one take the stage 😄✨
