Mum… before you say anything… I swear it wasn’t my fault.
I was being a responsible household guardian. You always say Christmas trees attract trouble. Mice… squirrels… maybe even those sneaky invisible monsters only cats can see. And I did hear something. I’m sure of it. A rustle. A whisper. A very suspicious jingle.
So naturally, I had to investigate.
For you.
For the family.
For national security.
I gave the tree a gentle pat. A supportive nudge. A respectful poke. And then—honestly, Mum—you won’t believe this… the whole tree FAINTED. Just collapsed dramatically like it was in a soap opera. Decorations screamed. Baubles sacrificed themselves. Tinsel died bravely.
Meanwhile here I am, standing in shock, trying to process the trauma.
I think I’m the victim, actually.
So before you blame me, remember:
I was protecting Christmas.
I was protecting you.
And possibly chasing an imaginary squirrel.
…also can we talk about how fun it was for like three seconds?
Love,
Your Sweet Innocent Boy 😼✨
