Day 31 — What is the bane of your existence?

The Wi-Fi connection. 😂

Without hesitation.

Living in the Canary Islands is wonderful — sunshine, mountains, ocean, beautiful sunsets…

And then there is the Wi-Fi.

One minute everything is working perfectly. The next minute I’m staring at the little spinning circle of doom while the internet apparently takes an unscheduled holiday. 😂

Of course, it usually happens at exactly the wrong moment. When I’m writing something, uploading to WordPress, working with music, generating an image, watching something or doing anything that requires the internet to remain alive for more than five consecutive minutes.

Then begins the ritual:

Is it the Wi-Fi?
Is it the router?
Is it my computer?
Is the entire island offline?
Have I offended the internet gods? 🤣

So yes, there are probably deeper and more philosophical answers I could give.

But today?

Wi-Fi.

The bane of my existence, destroyer of patience and occasional recipient of language that cannot be repeated on a respectable WordPress blog. 🤬🤣🤣

And somehow, this feels like the perfect way to finish August. 💜📶😂
