Tunnel

A tunnel
is not the end.
It only feels that way
when you’re inside it.

Walls close in.
Sound changes.
Light becomes a memory
instead of a certainty.

Tunnel vision narrows everything—
reduces the world
to what is immediately in front of you.
Step.
Breath.
Step.

But tunnels are built
for passage.

They are proof
that someone believed
there was something worth reaching
on the other side.

Sometimes life is a tunnel—
grief, recovery, endurance, waiting.
You don’t decorate it.
You move through it.

And even when the exit
isn’t visible yet,
you trust this:

Tunnels are temporary.

The light you cannot see
is still there.
