Software

I am grateful for software that shortens the distance
between curiosity and understanding.

With a few details entered,
a chart appears—
a life, an event,
or the sky as it is right now.

What once took hours of calculation
and shelves of books
now unfolds in seconds.
Not to replace knowing,
but to deepen it.

I’m especially grateful for the updates—
for Sabian symbols woven into every degree,
every sign,
quietly present,
ready to be read
without searching,
without interruption.

Software, when done well,
does not take away the mystery.
It clears the path to it.
