Daily Prompt 01.11.2026 – Cryptocurrency? No, Thank You!

Dailyprompt-2932: What are your thoughts about cryptocurrency?

Well, this might be one of my shortest answers to a Daily Prompt.

Honestly? I couldn’t care less!

Bitcoin, Ethereum, cryptocurrency, blockchain…

Yes, I’ve heard of them.

Do I spend my time following their prices, studying the market or wondering which digital currency might become the next big thing?

Absolutely not!

And before anyone starts explaining the wonderful world of cryptocurrency to me, let me make something clear.

I’m not saying it’s good or bad.

I’m simply saying that it doesn’t interest me.

Some people love investing, watching financial markets and discussing the latest developments in digital currencies.

And that’s perfectly fine.

We all have different interests.

Personally, I’d rather spend my time writing poetry, creating music, studying astrology or sitting outside beneath the stars.

Those are the things that bring me happiness.

Besides, I’ve already got enough excitement in my life without checking whether some imaginary-looking coins have suddenly lost half their value overnight!

And speaking of coins…

If someone offered me a choice between spending an afternoon studying cryptocurrency or enjoying a lovely cup of coffee while listening to my favourite music, I know exactly which one I’d choose.

Coffee and music, every single time!

Although, knowing my luck, the aliens from Arena 51 will probably arrive one day demanding payment in Bitcoin.

And I’ll be standing there asking:

“Djezes! Don’t you accept euros?” 👽

So, there you have it.

My thoughts on cryptocurrency?

To each their own, but it’s simply not for me.

Life is full of things worth exploring, and we don’t have to be interested in every single one of them.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a coffee to enjoy and some writing to do.

At least my coffee doesn’t need a digital wallet! ☕💜
