Here are this week’s questions, and my answers:
For Di’s weekly Prompt: https://wp.me/p3RSgb-wIv

- Do you celebrate anniversaries for family members?
Yes, I do.
Family moments matter. In fact, next Monday we’ll be celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday 🎉
Milestones deserve to be honoured.
2. Do you prefer to receive a card for your special day or a social media message?
Honestly — I like both.
Living here in the Canary Islands, digital greetings mean a lot because family and friends are spread across different countries. It helps make the distance feel smaller.
But a physical card still feels special too.
3. Do you think the cost of greeting cards is value for money?
No — they’ve become far too expensive.
I’d much rather make one myself. Handmade always feels more personal anyway.
4. Do you look forward to mail deliveries on a day-to-day basis, not just for celebrations?
Not really.
We only have a P.O. Box, so mail feels a little less exciting when it’s not arriving at your actual front door.
Gratitude
I’m grateful for family celebrations, near and far. For messages that bridge distances. For handmade things made with love.
And for another birthday to celebrate — because growing older is still a gift.
