Coffee, Chaos & the Invisible Mask

There I was—five minutes of peace, lukewarm coffee in hand, thinking I had finally escaped the noise.

Children running. Questions flying. Someone crying over glitter. Someone else insisting the dinosaur sticker was “unfair.”

And me?

Still wearing the mask.

Not the one on my face—the invisible one.

The one that forgets it’s allowed to breathe. To laugh. To quietly hide in a corner with caffeine and silence.

What I see is someone surviving the day one coffee at a time—trying to remember who they are beneath all the roles they carry.

Also…

someone who forgot to take the paper bag off before break time 😆
