In response to Ragtag Daily Prompt: https://wp.me/p9YcOU-6ls

Up here—
everything changes.

The noise softens.
The rush below
becomes distant,
like a story
you no longer have to live inside.

Treetop.

A place
between earth and sky,
where roots still
hold you
but your vision
reaches further.

You see more
from here.

Paths you didn’t notice.
Patterns you couldn’t understand
while standing
in the middle of it all.

Sometimes
we need height—
not to escape,
but to understand.

To step back
just enough
to see clearly.

Because life
is not only lived
in the ground-
level chaos.

It is also found
in the quiet above—where breath returns
and thoughts untangle.

And maybe
that is the gift
of the treetop.

Not distance—

but perspective.

A reminder
that even when we feel
caught in the details…

there is always
a place within us

that can rise
above it.
