Word of the Day Challenge 26.04.2026

In response to Alice DeForest word prompt: https://wp.me/p9Zf6z-2wb

Half-baked means not fully done.

Incomplete.
Unfinished.
Still in the middle
of becoming.

It’s often used
as criticism—
an idea not thought through,
a plan not ready,
something dismissed too quickly.

But everything
starts half-baked.

Every thought
begins as a spark.
Every creation
starts unformed.
Every version of us
is still evolving.

Nothing arrives perfect.

We grow into it.
We shape it.
We refine it over time.

A half-baked idea
is not a failure—
it’s a beginning.

A stage.
A process.
A sign that something
is taking form.

So maybe
being half-baked
isn’t something to
hide—

it’s something
to continue.

Because what is unfinished
still holds potential.

And what is in progress
is still becoming
something whole.
