Word of the Day Challenge
24.04.2026
In response to Alice DeForest word prompt: https://wp.me/p9Zf6z-2w7

Opinionated
is often said like a flaw.
Too strong.
Too loud.
Too certain.
As if having a voice
should be softened.
Filtered.
Dimmed.
But being opinionated
is not the problem.
It’s how it’s used
that matters.
An opinion
comes from experience.
From thought.
From seeing the world
in a certain way.
It means you care enough
to form a view.
To not just follow.
To not just agree.
But there is a balance.
A voice can express—or it can overpower.
It can invite conversation—
or shut it down.
True strength
is not only speaking…
it is also listening.
Because being opinionated
doesn’t have to mean
being closed.
It can mean
being aware,
engaged,
and willing to stand
in your truth—
while still allowing
space for others.
