Cost
We often think
of numbers.
Of price tags.
Of something
measured
and paid.
But not all cost
is visible.
Some of it
is quiet.
Felt
rather than counted.
The cost
of silence.
Of staying
when something
says go.
The cost
of speaking—
when your voice
shakes.
The cost
of holding on…
or letting go.
Every choice
carries something.
Not always loss—
but exchange.
Energy.
Time.
Emotion.
Pieces of ourselves
placed into moments
that matter.
And sometimes…
we only understand
the cost
afterward.
When we look back
and see
what it required
of us.
What it asked us
to become.
But cost
is not always
something to fear.
Because what we give
is often tied
to what we value.
What we choose
to invest
our energy into.
So maybe
the question is not—what does it cost?
But—
what is it worth?
Because when something
aligns with your truth…
even the cost
can carry meaning.
