1) What was your childhood “I’m running away” plan?
I don’t remember having an actual plan. But I did have a place — the trees.
I used to climb up and sit there when I needed to be alone. That was my version of running away. Not far… just high enough to breathe.
2) What was the first fictional character you fell in love with?
Paddington Bear 🧸.
Kind, polite, a little lost but always trying his best. What’s not to love?
3) What’s the most dramatic exit you’ve ever made?
Oh, I’ve had a few 😂
But one from high school stands out. Back then, we smokers had to climb a fence to sneak into the forest behind the school. The teachers knew, of course. But as long as they didn’t catch us smoking, no note.
One day I was in a hurry, climbing over —and my pants got caught.
Next thing I know… I’m hanging there, upside down, seeing the world from a very different angle 🤣
The teacher? Laughing his ass off.
Me? Trying to escape with what little dignity I had left.
At least I didn’t get a note.
