Crumb
So small
it is almost nothing.
Easily missed.
Easily brushed away.
A fragment.
A leftover.
Something that remains
after everything else
is gone.
And yet…
crumbs
tell a story.
They mark
where something
once was.
Where something
was shared.
Where something
ended—or began.
We think
only of
what is whole.
What is complete.
What is enough.
But meaning
does not always
live there.
Sometimes,
it lives in
what is left behind.
A memory
in pieces.
A feeling
in fragments.
A moment
reduced to
something small—
but still present.
Still real.
A crumb
may not seem
like much.
But it holds evidence.
Of presence.
Of experience.
Of something
that touched your life—even if only briefly.
And maybe
that is the quiet truth—
Not everything
needs to remain whole
to matter.
Not everything
needs to be complete
to be meaningful.
Sometimes,
even the smallest trace
is enoughto remind you…
that it was real.
