DailyPrompt—1818

What is your favorite animal?

#DailyPrompt-1818

Dogs.
Cats.
Horses.

Each for different reasons.
Dogs for their loyalty, devotion, and ability to love without conditions.

Cats for their independence, intuition, and quiet understanding.

Horses for their strength, sensitivity, and deep emotional awareness.

They all meet us exactly where we are —
without judgment, without expectations, without words.
And honestly?
Life feels richer with animals in it.

Oh Maggie, I’m so sorry. The animals we grow with don’t just stay in our lives, they become our family. I’ve had this thought so many times during quiet conversations with my dog… that one day he’ll be gone, and there will be this vast, unfillable space in my chest. Even thinking about it feels unbearable.
Losing them is a special kind of grief – wordless, deep, and aching, because the love was so pure. My heart truly goes out to you, my friend. Your horse may no longer be beside you, but the bond you shared doesn’t disappear. It stays, quietly shaping you, always.
Sending you so much love and strength. 🤍

Thank you, Ro 😇 she taught me so much about trust and presence. I still feel her with me in the quiet moments. Your words really touched my heart 🤍

I understand exactly what you’re feeling. Horses have such a beautiful, intuitive way of connecting with us. I once tried equine therapy and worked with a horse named Princess – so trusting, so gentle. The bond that forms is deeply special and stays with you. And I understand what you said about feeling her in the quiet moments – it’s as though love itself has wrapped its arms around you.
