If there were an open door to comfort,
Oscar found it —
slowly, deliberately,
with the confidence of someone who knows warmth is a human invention
meant primarily for turtles.
When life gets chilly,
some people face it bravely…
others pull an ostrich
and pretend nothing exists beyond the cozy glow.
Oscar chose wisdom.
Head slightly tucked.
Shell perfectly positioned.
No thoughts.
Only heat.
