*Where do I feel most connected to something greater than myself?
How can I visit that place more often?*

This answer came easily.
I feel most connected to something greater than myself
when I move through the portal
to meet and speak with my guides.
There is a softness there —
a familiarity,
like returning to a home that never needed directions.
Some days I sit with candles
and gentle music playing,
letting my breath settle
before I step through.
Other days I follow a guided meditation
and feel the veil thin
until I can sense the doorway opening.
Sometimes I arrive carrying a notebook under my arm —
ready to write down whatever comes.
Other times, I bring nothing at all.
And still, my guides remind me:
> “You will always remember
what serves your highest good —
with or without the notebook.”

That reminder brings such relief.
It frees me from grasping,
from trying to “capture” every message.
Because this connection
is not about effort —
it’s about presence.
The portal is a space beyond words:
calm, bright,
yet intimate.
A place where I am met,
held,
and guided.
A place where time disappears
and truth arrives without strain.
A place where I feel seen
in every lifetime,
not just this one.
Even when my body is tired,
even when my mind is loud,
the moment I enter, I remember:
I am not walking alone.
I never have been.
So,
How can I visit that place more often?
By inviting stillness.
By creating space —
even five quiet minutes.
By lighting a candle
and letting that tiny flame
be enough to open the door.
By trusting that connection
does not require perfection.
It only requires willingness.
Some days I enter deeply,
with clarity and vividness.
Other days I sit at the threshold,
feeling only a whisper.
Both are enough.
What matters
is that I return.
Return
to the place where my soul expands.
Return
to the presence of my guides.
Return
to the remembering
of who I truly am.
In that space,
I feel the most “me.”
The truest me.
The one who is more than this moment,
more than this body,
more than this lifetime.
The one who is woven
into something vast
and ancient
and loving.
So I visit the portal
as often as I can.
Because there,
I am never lost.
Never alone.
And every time I return,
I bring back a little more light.
