Daily prompt–2112

This question is harder than it looks.
I’ve learned — sometimes in painful ways — that life rarely follows the map we imagined.
Three years ago, I had no idea I would be here:
writing music, fighting for justice, building a blog, grieving, speaking truths I once kept buried,
and slowly finding the courage to share my story.
So what will life look like three years from now?
I don’t know for sure.
But here is what I hope:
I hope I’m healthy.
I hope my family is safe and well.
I hope I’m still creating —
writing, singing, learning, guiding, healing, studying the stars.
Maybe by then, my book —
Phoenix Rising From the Ashes —
will be out in the world.
A story of
childhood wounds,
domestic and sexual abuse,
trauma,
faith,
grief ,
Scorpio rebirth,
and the long, slow alchemy of turning pain into purpose.
It will not be an easy story.
But it will be an honest one.
And if it helps even one person feel less alone,
then every page will be worth it.
Beyond that…
maybe I’ll have finished more music,
shared more soulwork,
and found new ways to support others through their own dark nights.
But mostly —
I hope I’m grounded in the present.
Because the future isn’t a destination.
It’s a conversation —
between our choices
and our courage.
So in three years,
I don’t wish to be someone else
or somewhere else.
I just hope to be more myself —
a little lighter,
a little stronger,
and still rising.
💫 The future isn’t a destination —
it’s a relationship with the unknown.
